This was one of the first songs Tim wrote on piano, actually he wrote most of the lyrics with his guitar, but completed the song using the piano. Years later he wrote a few full chorus arrangements which were sung by a few chorus's including his the jr. high school that he taught at in Japan.

Intro: 4/4 / / Dm / | / / / / | Am / / / | G / / / | Am / Am/G / | Am/F / Am/E / ----------
In the (Dm) lunar pull, as the (Am) flower blooms
In the (G) ebb of tide, on the (Dm) brink of doom
I (Dm) feel, oh I (F) feel a pulse,
A (Am) synchronistic (G) rhythm and my (Am) life’s engulfed
In this (Dm) cosmic (Am) dance (G) we call (Dm) life.
/ / Dm / | / / / / | Am / / / | G / / / | Am / Am/G / | Am/F / Am/E / ----------
As the (Dm) earth revolves (C) around the sun,
And the (G) seasons change
(F) I have just begun to (Am) see.
Oh (Dm) now I see that this (C) universal flow is a (G) part of me (Am) In this (Dm) cosmic (Am) dance (G) we call (Dm) life.
/ / Dm / | / / / / | 5/4 Am / G / / | 4/4 Am / Am/G / | F / / / | G7 / / / ----------
(C) No one is an (G) island and (Em) nothing exists (Am) alone.
It’s (Dm) time we pull (G) together and (F) make
this world our (G) home of (Am) peace...of (G) hope…of (F) life.
| Am / Am/G / | Am/F / Am/E / ----------
As we (Dm) kiss goodbye to this (G) century of war.
Will we (F) learn a lesson?
Will we (G) finally close the door to (Dm) bloodshed?
‘Cause I’m (C) sick of all the bloodshed!
It’s (G) time we make the peace.
It’s (F) time we let the children (G) dance in the streets (Am)
To this (Dm) cosmic (Am) dance (G) we call (Dm) life. (Dm/A) (Dm)
